Sean investigates and litigates white-collar matters and complex civil disputes.
He has represented individual and corporate clients in investigations and cases involving the U.S. Department of Justice, various U.S. Attorney’s Offices, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other state and federal regulators. Sean has also represented clients in securities cases, contract disputes, bankruptcy litigation, and other complex commercial matters. His experience includes representing the bondholders of a foreign state-owned enterprise in litigation before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Prior to joining Smith Villazor LLP, Sean was an associate at a large international law firm for nine years.
From 2015 to 2016, Sean clerked for Judge Mark G. Mastroianni in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
